Step 1: Schedule Your Appointment

Give us a call at 229-NO-RADON or book online. We’ll find a time that works for you—often within 24–48 hours.

We’ll ask a few questions to understand your home layout and location (basement, slab, crawl space, etc.).

Step 2: We Set Up the Radon Monitor

Our certified technician will place a Continuous Radon Monitor (CRM) on the lowest livable level of your home—typically a basement or ground floor.

Here’s what happens next:

• The monitor is tamper-resistant and tracks radon levels hourly
• No drilling, no damage—just a small device placed in a central, undisturbed area
• You’ll be asked to keep windows and doors closed as much as possible during the 48-hour test
• The device silently records air samples throughout the testing period

Did You Know? Radon levels often fluctuate by time of day and temperature—that’s why we test over 48 hours for the most accurate reading.

Step 3: Wait 48 Hours

The monitor collects data while you go about your daily life.

We’ll schedule a quick return visit after the test ends to collect the monitor and download the data.

Step 4: Get Your Results Within 24 Hours

We’ll email or text you a clear, detailed report that includes:

• Your average radon level (in pCi/L)
• EPA guidelines for action
• An explanation of what the results mean
• Recommendations for next steps (if needed)

If your results are below 4.0 pCi/L, no action is needed—but we’ll still explain how to monitor over time.
